I’m happy to announce that I’m partnering with Scale75 for a special LIVE Paint-a-Long on Twitch! Join us May 16, 23 & 30th at 1pm CST where we’ll paint “Boris Doroshenko”, a Scale75 Smog Rider, step-by-step online at Twitch.Tv/Mocha_Minis. The Man, The Myth, The Miniature: Boris Doroshenko

Scale75 suggested we paint this miniature and now I can’t get “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack out of my head! Boris is rocking the iconic Circus Strong Man look + Steampunk gauntlets and I’m diggin’ it! You can see in the version I painted at the very top of this post, he’s wearing animal print, different from the studio painter’s original cover art of red & white stripes. Since our paint-a-long isn’t intended to copy the cover art, I changed things up a bit and felt that this would be a better option. Beginner painters are often intimidated by painting perfectly even stripes, and the animal print is more accessible for everyone :)

Important Note: Please clean, assemble & prime the miniature prior to the first session so we can hit the ground running– er, painting!

*While VoDs (Videos on Demand) will be available via Twitch.Tv/Mocha_Minis to watch for a limited time after each livestream, we highly encourage you to tune in live and participate, as Mocha will answer chat questions in real time!
